Lost Weekend...

Looking west from Salthouse towards Cley

Hard weather displaces birds...
Hard birding displaces birders...

Above: Ewan and Terry
'machine gunning'
Snow Buntings at Salthouse.
Left Andy & Ewan looking like an album cover.

 Norfolk on the Saturday....
2 Stunning Golden Pheasants at Wolferton,
A Rough-legged Buzzard at Burnham Overy,
Shorelark and Snow Buntings at Salthouse,
On route to the Dipper we lucked in on two incredably approachable
Otters a mother and cub on the outskirts of Thetford.
Finally ended our triumphant day watching
the smart Black-bellied Dipper which has over-
wintered in Norfolk.

More at the superb
Black Audi Birding

Black-bellied Dipper

Sunday in the garden of England
(well a Nuclear power station)

Dungeness Kent

Pygmy Red-backed Shrike Penduline Tit Stodmarsh Kent.
Follwed by 3 Great Whites (Egrets not sharks).
14 Smew & a Firecrest...nice.
