Lesvos spring 2012 The Wetlands

What can I say about Lesvos which hasn't been said or written before...in reality not much 

so I'm compiling three films focusing on different areas of the island I visited during a two 

week stay between April 21st and May 5th 2012 basically the birds and the critters

'wot I did see'.The first film as the title alludes to features wetland species and was filmed 

predominantly along the Tsiknias river, The Alykes Wetlands and around the Kalloni Saltpans. 

Most clips where digiscoped using a Cannon S95 through a Swarovski scope apart from the 

scenic stuff and any flying birds which were taken on one of two Panasonic cams.

The birding is incredible and all of the main sites are easily accessible and in close proximity to
Skalla Kallonis.We flew from Gatwick to Mytilini and the flight took a little over three hours.
